Nils Frahm – "For" (Max Cooper Remix)

Having just returned from Seattle's Decibel Festival, where I had the privilege of taking in beautiful sets from both pianist Nils Frahm and techno producer Max Cooper, there couldn't have been a better release than this melding of minds. This isn't the first collaboration between Frahm and Cooper, and with good reason; Frahm's beautiful, clever piano melodies are a perfect match for Cooper's emotional, distinctive breed of production, blurring lines (and not in the Robin Thicke way, thank you very much) between the recital hall and the dance floor.

Stream the song below and if you like it, grab the download via XLR8R.
