Toro Y Moi – "Rose Quartz" [Video]

Have you ever seen a painting at the museum, and you feel like it’s following you around the room? Well the music video for “Rose Quartz” brings a whole new meaning to that. In the video for “Rose Quartz” the colors of Lauren Gregory’s art jump off the canvas giving a soul to her work and stimulating the imagination. This is one of the most fascinating videos I have seen in some time. Lauren helps Toro Y Moi create a realistic vision for his lyrics.

“Rose Quartz” is the product of Chaz Bundick, who is currently touring the States in support of his most recent album Anything In Return. He also released “Campo” last month, which is available on 7” only if you catch him on tour. The collaboration with Lauren Gregory extends Chad Bundick’s recent creative trend; which I hope and expect to continue to satisfy our visual and aural appetites.
