Coasts are steadily making a name for themselves outside of the UK. Their debut EP titled Paradise has received rave reviews worldwide. Their single “Stay,” which wasn’t on their first EP, was released on September 10th of this year. Coasts have now decided to release a video to company their popular single.

The video for “Stay” focuses on two girls in a relationship. What I found most intriguing about the video is the contrast between the joyful and melancholy moments they experience together. The video shifts between scenes where the girls are separated and transitions into passion filled intimate scenes between the two girls together. It’s an interesting clip that suits the song quite well. The catchy tune along with the visual dynamics of the video make for a thought-provoking final product.
