The Scottish three-person synthpop band known as CHVRCHES began creating music together in 2011, and things seem only to be looking up for the Glasgow based group; they were named the 2013 winners of the Inaugural Prize (for a Developing Non-U.S. Act) by SXSW, earned a top 10 spot in BBC's Sound of 2013 ranking, and most importantly have been churning out a collection of energetic and standout synth-filled musical creations since their nascency. These creations include remixes, EP's, an album, and a number of hit singles.
Their most successful chart climbing single, "The Mother We Share," was officially premiered last September, and funk, nu-disco, and house maestro Moon Boots has unveiled his atmospheric and tropicalized remix of the track a few days after its 1 year release anniversary. With an indisputable ability to fade across musical genres, but still deliver the funk, soul, disco, beach side, and feel good vibes we're always craving, we have a sense that there's no limit to what Moon Boots can do. His motto, "These boots were made for walking around in zero gravity," hints to us that our senses are correct. Check out his meteorological remix below.
