Flaxo has followed the release of his "Close Your Eyes" remix with a dramatic take on Cash Cash's hit single, "Take Me Home." In following his progression, I truly believe that this is some of his best work, and I'm sure his fans will agree. The arc of the track is well developed, beginning with a chopped up vocal sample that dances over a mellow piano/synth/drum combo. After stripping away some of these elements, Flaxo allows the infectious vocals of the original to shine over minimal production. However, what truly sets this remix apart is the incorporation of the deep horns and heavy synth that builds over time to amplify the tragic plea, "But I still stay cause you're the only thing I know/So, won't you, oh won't you take me home." Although it's definitely a darker take on the original, this is the version you're gonna want to be dancing to at night.
