Waju – “Insulin” [Video]

L.A. based emcee Waju first popped up on our radar last year with the impressive track and video "Heavy". It was the rapper's introduction to the hip-hop community and served as the first single for his debut project Something Special. He has chosen let loose another cut, the reflective "Insulin", through visuals as well. The striking images and clever animation in this $queeze Williams directed short film bring life to Waju's lyrical content. His rhymes intelligently and takes a conscious route as he sheds light on the American justice system. Japanese production house OilWorks provide the soundtrack with melancholy piano loops that bring the piece together with a calming yet powerful vibe. Waju seems to truly be putting together something special.
