A week after Skream revealed his latest masterpiece "Rollercoaster," the Detroit-bred Jimmy Edgar jumps on the track for a remix. Hot off his Boiler Room set at Osheaga Festival in Berlin, Edgar received airtime from BBC Radio's one and only Annie Mac, championing his rendition of the already glimmering tune. Turning in the four-on-the-floor disco vibe for a downtempo beat, Edgar brings listeners an entirely new sound with his remix of "Rollercoaster." Starting with a sprawling introduction, Edgar tones down the guitar riffs and piano chords and replaces them with shadowy Weeknd-esque synths. Playing homage to Skream's bassy dubstep roots, Edgar closes his version of the track with some grimy bass plugs, making for a deeper dark rendition of "Rollercoaster."
