“A cloud of gas and dust in outer space, visible in the night sky either as an indistinct bright patch or as a dark silhouette against other luminous matter.” This is the definition of “Nebula,” a fitting title to the latest track released by Midnight Conspiracy. The intro of “Nebula” is spacey and mysterious. However, this is merely the calm before the storm. After a short build up, monstrous bass and startling sound effects engulf the sonic landscape of this vast sounding piece. Fans of heavy bass and electro will be in dubstep heaven listening to “Nebula.”
The Chi-town collective is known for their entertaining live shows. They perform behind a sixteen-foot laser and LED structure known as “Eye Live,” which enhances the live performance experience for their fans. Midnight Conspiracy has made it known that on their newest project they want to make people dance and enjoy themselves. They feel that electronic dance music has become “raging, all drugs, all builds and drops, overly aggressive banger music," and they want to bring something distinctive to the table.
“Nebula” is currently available for free download through Ultra Records; whose roster also includes Deadmau5, Bloody Beetroots, Kaskade, Steve Aoki and many more. One thing is for certain MidnightConspiracy is looking to create their own unique electronic music movement.
