There's been a trend in the top tracks on the Beatport house charts that can be exemplified by its current #1 spot holder, "Calabria" by Criminal Vibes. Along with many other chart toppers, it's taken a sample from a fairly recent dance record that we all know and love, and updated it for the 2013 dance floor. Today, San Francisco's own David Carvalho and Chris Harnett, also known as WhiteNoize, released a disco track with Ben Epstein that has the perfect formula to quickly overtake that #1, entitled "Give Me One More." Don't get me wrong, though, having a formula down isn't what makes a track special. "Give Me One More" takes the definitive vocal from Jackie Moore's 1979 single "This Time Baby," and blows it out to be more than just a vocal sample. Though "Give Me One More" has a contemporary club feel, like many of WhiteNoize's tracks, it has an authenticity about it that might just make you want to grab a skinny microphone and sing along.
