K Theory is no stranger to mixing hip-hop into their high powered electronic beats and they've done it again with their latest remix of Drake's "Hold On We're Going Home". Going heavy on the samples from Drake's track, the San Francisco based trio adds punchy drums and deep bass hits to the vocal distortionn, giving listeners a truly dynamic remix. In comparison to their remix of Jay-Z's "Heaven", which they dropped a little over a month ago, K Theory keeps the tempo and lyrics fairly intact in both remixes, but still manages to give the tracks their own kindred sound. The lyrical samplings are the only thing left in the remix of "Hold On We're Going Home" to remind us that this was a hip-hop song originally. K Theory wiped the lyrics clean and built them into this glitch-hop masterpiece that even Drake might appreciate.
