It's been a while since we have heard something as fresh and clean as Odesza's newest track "My Friends Never Die"–a full on good time packed into under three minutes of shimmering beats. Sampling what would otherwise be a soulful vocal performance if not for manipulation, lush textures are used as a back-bone that supports eclectic effect-filled melodies.

While the Seattle-based duo recently caught another gust of wind with their remix of Beat Connection's "Saola" (linked here) it has been quite some time since they have released new original material. Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight (Odesza) must have known that they would have to bring it when many of the songs that they released as part of a run of experimental electronic songs found critical acclaim as after the long wait fans have a fresh new song to dig into.
Expect more feel-good vibes when they release their My Friends Never Die EP on September 17.
