After an almost two year silence, Basement Jaxx returned to the dance music world with "Back 2 The Wild" earlier this year. Now the London-based duo are revealing another new production "What A Difference Your Love Makes," accompanied by an EP of the same name, due out September 30. The EP features remixes of the title track by Miguel Campbell and Huxley as well as another B. Jaxx original, "Mermaid of Salinas".
About a month after the original appeared on Basement Jaxx's Soundcloud, the two debuted Huxley's version of the bumping '80s-inspired pop production. Hailing from down the road, the London-based, Tring, England-born Huxley adds a dark house feeling instantly, adding sprawling progression and a thumping two-step line. Turning in the happy-go-lucky electro-pop vibe for the grimy sounds of garage, Huxley gives "What A Difference Your Love Makes" a rework ready for the underground.
