After premiering a new song at the Pitchfork Music Festival over the weekend, Cut Copy have officially released "Let Me Show You". This marks the first taste from the groups upcoming album Modular, which seems to find the group in the midst of a somewhat transitional stage.
Throughout "Let Me Show You" a house-based beat is infused with a plethora of bells and whistles in the form of digital effects to create a lush backing to their unique vocal sound. The song is composed of three segments; a high powered introduction, a pulled back break that drops and then climbs back up to the layered peak of the intro and a closing segment that plays off of elements that were previously introduced, while also adding a new overlaying looped sample. In all "Let Me Show You" is a four to the flour based dance song that toys with a number of other genres as it progresses.
