Drum roll please. We’ve got a premiere! Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, singer/songwriter, JADE♥, has built up quite a buzz with her Pop/R&B stylings. The songstress’ solo debut—the 2009 EP, It’s My Heart, Cookie—was quite a revelation and was very well received. Its acclaim was well deserved as the project broke new ground in Pop/Soul fusion. Now, after a relatively extended hiatus, JADE♥ is releasing a new EP entitled Selfish and Never Alone (SANA) Vol. 1, with a new video for the project’s second single, “Jones.” Her smooth vocals travel effortlessly through barren soundscapes (“Doors,” “Jones”) and tame poppy, uptempo rhythms (“Goodnight Summer,” Here With You,” “Feelin’ Right”). SANA features electrifying production from Chuck Inglish, Brenmar, Mel Debarge, Tom Cruz, and Jack Inslee.
