The UK dance scene high jumped to prominence in the first half of 2013, and stellar acts such as Disclosure, Skream, and of course, Duke Dumont, all made massive headlines with their amazingly progressive, yet simultaneously nostalgic, styles.
Dumont has had amazing success with "Need U (100%)," which skyrocketed him into the number 1 slot across the Atlantic, and featured him as the must-watch act in the UK garage/house dance world. This time around, he's come back into the news with "Hold On" featuring MNEK, and it's as amazing as one could expect from the young DJ. Keeping to his style of danceable house music behind amazing vocals, the song speaks of love in a way only the UK underground is capable of. It's catchy, emotional, melodic, and beautiful, what more could we ask for on a dreary Monday morning?
If his tour schedule is any indication, this man is getting no time off, as he jumps between various continents to play at some of the coolest clubs and biggest festivals. "Hold On" is yet to be released for purchase, although it's sure to rocket through the charts when it does.
