Late night music hunting…I highly suggest it. As I was winding down my night at 5 in the morning, I came across an artist that goes by ETML and his track "Bind Me". Becoming immersed in the deep house garage style that is sweeping the music scene as of late (see Disclosure), 18 year old Elliott Marshall has himself quite an impressive debut single.
With production provided by Taneli's, a fellow Brit, "Heat" we see the successful fusion of catchy vocals that glide gracefully over jittery hi hats, rhythmic claps, and a pulsating bassline. There doesn't seem to be a moment forced or out of place, leading your body to complete submissiveness as the beat rolls on by. And since ETML is as young as he is (he's still finishing up school), I'm excited to see what comes out of his camp in the future. Word on the street is that he's busy in the studio with some big-name producers for upcoming material. "Bind Me" is slated for official release via 37 Adventures on June 18th.
