In our latest installment of the Wavo x Earmilk Influencer series, we tapped new OWSLA signee David Heartbreak. A Brooklyn born DJ/Producer, Heartbreak is forging his own unique sound in an increasingly crowded EDM scene. Mr. Heartbreak’s sound stems from his hip hop roots, with electronic influences widely ranging from dubstep, trance, and future bass to kuduro and dancehall. His unwillingness to be confined to a single genre and his well-developed sound has caught the attention of industry heavyweights like Skrillex and Diplo, resulting in his newly released OWSLA EP entitled “The Foundation”.

When we asked Heartbreak to be one of our influencers, he gave us a chart that reflected his eclectic taste; ranging from deep house to his own reggae-infused dubstep sound. Here’s what David Heartbreak had to say about his selection:

"This chart is half aggression and half soul, so this is the heartbreak vibe.. there's a nice mixture of festival bangers, and also a nice mixture of tunes, that you can chill and blaze up too!"

Enjoy the chart below!
