The past couple of weeks have found me venturing over to some of the more “out-there” music the internet has to offer. I can't say I regret my little venture, considering I have now discovered Psymun and Damacha.
Actually, it was the duo that found me, and I am so excited that they did. Their newest collaboration, the third installment of Serious Sauce, is, and I quote my internal monologue upon first listen, “friggin awesome” (well… more profane language was used). There are obvious Hip Hop influences, samples of Japanese words, and beautiful melodic voices all around. It's a genius mix of eclectic songs, and no amount of my own explaining will suffice to highlight how much I truly enjoyed listening to the tracks. I know I say this all the time, but I really mean it when I say that these two artists are ones to really watch for.
Unfortunately, these two up-and-comers don't have too much information on any shows or future plans quite yet, but rest assured, it's only a matter of time until they start gaining some massive attention from some very important people. Serious Sauce Vol. III, however, is on sale via MJMJ Records on digital, CD, and cassette.
