Today we’ve got a look into a track off of the forthcoming remix EP of the summertime afternoon anthem, “Friday Nights.” San Francisco native Viceroy brings his talent for putting together groovy, bubbly poolside tracks partnered with Brooklyn-based electronic duo French Horn Rebellion for a poppy hit to get us psyched for warm weather. If you’re unfamiliar with French Horn Rebellion, they are worth getting to know. Milwalkee-born and bred brothers Robert and David Perlick-Molinari make up the electronic duo who have a short but impressive resume. Working with Grammy award winners and being supported by everyone from Jay-Z to OF MONTREAL, the brothers have cultivated a style that is both vintage electronica and fresh with an obviously Brooklyn-infused edge.

Take a listen to the exclusive first peek at the remix EP of “Friday Nights” that features Rush Midnight, among other remixes by R&B pro Bronx and disco queen Jessie Andrews. Brooklyn-based Rush Midnight’s take on the track gives it a nu-disco edge, perfect for that inaugural BBQ or pool party that we all can’t wait to attend.
