I didn't realize that my life was seriously lacking in some hard rap lately until I heard Killer Mike and El-P go at it in this little snippet for their upcoming albu– wait, let me back up a few steps. Killer Mike and El-P are working together, and they are going under the name Run the Jewels. This alone is pretty exciting, and their preview only makes the anticipation grow stronger.
They haven't set a date on the release, but according to a Spin Magazine interview, they are hoping for sometime in June. In the meantime, listen to a filthy, disgusting, and overall amazing snippet of "Banana Clipper," on what is going to be an overall amazing album.

Both Killer Mike and El-P are both touring right now, and while June feels a little far away at the moment, Pitchfork caught up with the two to check out how they are doing. It might not exactly tide us over until then, but that is the best we have for now.
