"The Truth" is a brand new track from female London MC, Janset. The song is taken from her mixtape entitled Retrospective, which was released earlier this week. Fellow Brit, Distinction, who we’ve featured on Earmilk before for his remix of SOHN’s “The Wheel”, produced the track. It features all the trademarks of a Distinction production, with eerie basslines, and futuristic synth lines over a dark drum pattern. The vocals and flow fit the tracks sinister vibe perfectly, and gives Janset the platform to show off her intriguing lyrics. With Distinction getting thousands of plays on his re-fix's and remix's, this track should prove that he can hold his own when it comes to producing original tracks. 2013 looks to be an exciting year for both Janset and Distinction.
