It's a given that Chicago is a prime destination for live music lovers. Year after year, Chicago music fans look to the city to act as a personal receptionist, compiling their weekend plans for them. Festival presence has grown exponentially into a predominant reason why Chicago is a melting pot of events for all musical tastes and sizes. Some of the artists set to take the stage for the weekend festival, set for July 5th through 7th, include Rusko, Chris Lake, Benoit & Sergio, Caspa, Maya Jane Coles, Crookers, Guy Gerber, Nicolas Jaar, Jamie Jones, Damian Lazarus, & Danny Tenaglia. 2013's Wavefront Music Festival will definitely prove itself to be an absolute summer bucket-list item for EDM lovers throughout the Midwest. With more than 100 artists performing on four stages, each day ends with firework displays over the lakefront. Wavefront Music Festival is the best way to end the holiday week with a "bang" (no pun intended).
