This week we've teamed up with Lavo NY and we're excited to present a special event featuring Australian dance music legends, Sneaky Sound System this Thursday, March 28th. We've got an exclusive limited guest list for this one so make sure to RSVP before it's too late.
SNEAKY SOUND SYSTEM @ LAVO NY | MARCH 28th
Sneaky Sound System established themselves as one of Australia's premiere electronic dance acts when Black Angus and MC Double D came together in 2001 to host Sydney's legendary Sunday night dance party, Sneaky Sundays. The group picked up Connie Mitchell as their lead vocalist a few years later in 2004, and she's been with the group ever since. In August 2006 they released their self-titled studio debut, after releasing their break-through single "I love it", which spent 73 weeks in the top 100, and broke the record as longest charting single by an Australian artist on the ARIA music charts.

After their massive success from "I Love It", Sneaky Sound System started to secure their spot as one of Australia's top dance acts, and for good reason. They have since released two more epic electronic dance albums, and Mitchell has appeared on albums for Kanye West, Snoop Dogg and Rick Ross. The pair have supported Scissor Sisters, Jamiroquia and Lady Gaga, and have travelled the world performing in massive clubs and music festivals. They were the 2009 headliner for the Big Day Out Festival, touring Auckland, Sydney, Perth, and the Gold Coast and playing to crowds with thousands of excited fans. Their 2010 hit single "Pictures" get's an update with a great mashup from Steve Powers as he pairs it with the big room anthem from Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike & Mogaui, "Mammoth".
Since the release of their third album, From Here to Anywhere, Sneaky Sound System have continued to cement themselves as one of the top acts in the electronic-dance world, and they don't appear to be slowing down. They've toured the world to promote their latest release at some of the world's biggest clubs, including London's Ministry of Sound. Now, after more than a decade spent throwing legendary dance parties, Sneaky Sound System definitely know how to put on a good show, so be sure not to miss them this Thursday at the exclusive Lavo NY!
