Sandro Silva is a name that you might find to be a little bit under the radar. That is until you realize that he’s the one who partnered with Quintino on one of the most insane festival tracks of all time, “Epic.” I really can’t go on without mentioning that that track is still on the Beatport Top 100 chart, and is the only song from 2011 that remains there. But 2011 wasn’t the only time for the Dutch artist. Most recently in December he released his Let Go Tonight EP, which was a testament to his talent in a breadth of styles. This week, the remix package of the club-friendliest track, “Let Go Tonight,” was released which got me even more excited about that original release.
Featuring appearances from artists who also range in styles (and notoriety), this EP really covers some ground when it comes to club tracks. The one that really drew me in was by American producer MAKJ, which is picture perfect for a live festival set. But after giving the Starkillers and Justin Prime remixes a listen, it became apparent that there can be some depth in the variety of club music out there.
