I don't about the rest of you but here I am dealing with frigid coldness and ridiculous weather slamming the Mid-West and New England. It's pretty miserable at the moment with gloomy clouds and greyness all day. Nothing helps a slow day like music that fits the weather, at least for me. Astronauts, etc. is known for his cathartic indie pop that's soothing to the ears which is most notable in his debut EP Supermelodic Pulp. His latest tune "Sideswiped", spotlights his melodic, easy-listening style. There aren't too many effects that drown out his drawn out vocals, which is the main focus of the track. The effects that are present are quite modest and add to the ambient and serene feel, making the song that much more dynamic. Along with a clean keyboard meshed somewhere between the foreground and background, "Sideswiped" is a beautiful piece that should be touched by many ears.
