Much like its name implies DJ Koze's new song "Track ID Anyone?" is filled with bizarre landscapes that can leave the listener dumbfounded upon a full listen. Among the seemingly random components you can make out what sounds like a monkey's chirp and marimba that lay over top a chugging tech house drum beat. This all takes place before the songs climax, Caribou's Dan Snaith singing with his unique held back approach.
Much like the material of the songs contributor, Snaith, while it may come off as random at first, upon multiple listens the entire work will come together without a seam. "Track ID Anyone?" is the first song released off of DJ Koze's upcoming album Amygdala out March 22 on his own label Pampa. This marks minimalist house producer Stefan Kozalla's (DJ Koze) first official release since 2005, where he has put out remixes here and there since — check below.
