Hip hop beat maker Yung Satan from the M|O|D crew released his first 5 song solo EP yesterday called the Maserati EP. The debut single of the same name released a couple weeks ago to a very positive acclaim. The 808 beat heavy tracks are accompanied by soothing synths, sub shattering kicks and jumpy vocal chops.
Using samples from all types of music and turning it into a single cohesive EP is not something to be overlooked. Each song seems to work fluently well with one another. The tracks that stand out most in my eyes are "Stones" with its interesting and somewhat catchy vocal samples and vibrant synths, "Junt" uses the low end to create a harmonic sound, and as with all of Yung Satan's tracks, the vocal samples are on par with the best.
