When people ask me what music I'm currently listening to, sometimes I find it hard to respond without oversaturating their brains with a million new artists to check out. Currently though, the name of the game is future-garage/chillwave/post-dubstep/however you want to categorize it these days. And undoubtedly one of the brightest young producers in this genre is French producer, Andrea. Built off of artists like Burial and Four Tet, this new organic take on UK garage music is on the uprise.
Andrea's official remix of Blackbird Blackbird's track "Happy With You" takes the original acoustic indie track and transforms it into a relaxing, chilled-out song that makes for easy listening. The natural everyday sounds that layer the track adds a certain realism to the song. One of the key features in future garage is the homemade sounds that are used to create a swingy, vibey beat layered over soothing bass with modified vocals.

As I like to do with most solo track posts, highlighting an artist's other works are important. The song that launched Andrea into one of my favorite current producers was his song "Another," which takes Justin Timberlake vocal cuts and turns it into a soothing and catchy, ambient masterpiece.
