Like most of us, Beach House have been busy reflecting on the year we just put behind us. Like some of us, they've got a whole lot to be proud of. To celebrate an unequivocally successful 2012, the duo assembled a few video clips from their recording session at Sonic Ranch Studios in Tornillo, Texas and set it to one of the excellent cuts off year-end favorite Bloom. The resulting video for the topically titled "New Year" cruises through footage of what looks like a sunny, exceptionally peaceful album-making process. It makes sense that one of the more relaxing LPs of 2012 was put together in a studio filled with cats. If you find yourself in a chilly clime at the break of this here year, the following video should do well to warm up your insides.
