For a man who's worked with Danny Brown, the guy who must have three clones of himself to manage all the work he put in this year, Detroit rapper/producer Black Milk has been as quiet as a mouse on X-Mas. Since putting out his last full-length LP Album of the Year back in '10, he put together the Black and Brown EP with Brown, but not a whole lot else. Do rappers get writer's block?
Just so his fans wouldn't scream "Detox!," Black Milk put out Demo Tapes 2012, a free stream below. At 7 free-flowing tracks long, the spontaneous release is perfect for all the Internet minds out there. At times Demo Tapes 2012 even seems to channel the late J Dilla, a fellow Detroitian and once Black Milk collaborator.
