New York indie group Mainland have been building quite the following since their inception in the summer of 2010. After running into each other several times at rooftop parties in New York, the band started working and created a buzz for themselves in the Manhattan and Brooklyn area. The group's sound can be described as a West Coast garage attitude with rangy, poppy guitar riffs. Their latest song "Wasted", produced in collaboration with Luke David, reflects on times wasted with a former girlfriend. There in no set date on the release of their next project so keep an eye on the band's Bandcamp or Soundcloud.
