It’s just been a Boys Noize kind of day here on Earmilk, which makes sense with the Out Of The Black tour about to begin tomorrow at the Roseland Ballroom in New York (check out this post for more info and to win tickets). But in more exciting news, it seems that two of the album tracks, “Ich R U” and “What You Want,” already have some remixes in the making that will be dropping early next year on January 14. January 14. The artists lending their vision: Jaques Lu Cont, Jimmy Edgar, D.I.M and Chromeo. So get your dancing shoes on for Chromeo’s rendition of “What You Want,” taking one of my favorite tracks form the album and giving it a little more groove. The Canadian duo layers their signature funky sounds and talk box over the original, which include the oh-so sweet vocals by Dave 1. Listen up and get a ticket to a Boys Noize show near you.
