In light of Juicy J's new "Bandz A Make Her Dance" video game, I figured this was a great time to share this cover by R&B newcomer August Alsina. The new Def Jam Records signee croons over a piano instrumental and at first listen, you'd think this was a song about a heartbroken man on the verge of losing his woman. The young New Orleans native has a refreshing soulful voice that has yielded comparisons to Trey Songz. "Bandz a Make Her Dance" comes after his April 15 release of the DJ Scream-sponsored The Product, set to honor Alsina's late brother, who was killed in New Orleans on April 15, 2012.
