Today I'm really excited to premiere me and my brother's new remix of Swim Deep's Honey. I've been following the British Quartet since their breakthrough track King City and have felt for a long time that these guys are going to be huge. Recently signed to Sony's RCA and with a big tour and a debut album on the way that seems to be happening. When they dropped their new single Honey on Chess Club Records I reached out to see if we could work on it.
Nicely they were down so me and Liam went to work. We wanted to leave some of that upbeat dreamy quality of Swim Deep's music but come up with something a little harder and intense. To try and make that happen we drew on a bunch of our major influences from Daft Punk to Fred Falke.
