It looks like we've got another Swedish talent on our hands. Intrigued by digital music composition at an early age, Tim Norell got comfortable on the decks at 15 after doing some experimenting on the set that his brother gave him for Christmas. Now 21, he's progressed from playing in front of crowds at parties to trying out his own hand at production. Inspired by Armin Van Buuren and Tiesto's trance hits, he's cherished the quality of his live sets and begun to develop his own progressive house style. After successful reception of his first single, "Bahai" earlier this year, he's hit us with another quality release called "Phantom." Out on G6 Records, "Phantom" is a great expression of dark, catchy synths that themselves vary in execution. One moment they're tech-y, the next on the more progressive end, showing us Norell's real promise for the future.
