During the summer, I introduced you to a young Philly rapper named Grande Marshall and I am very enthused to see how much his buzz has grown since then. At the time, he was fresh off of tearing up the stage at the first TRILLECTRO hosted by DCtoBC. Fast forward a couple months and still with just one mixtape out, 800, as well a few stand out singles, his name started buzzing around various circles. He managed to catch the attention of DJ A-Trak and his Fools Gold Records and on October 21st he made it official that he was part of the Fools Gold team. Grande's style is unlike that of other Philadelphia rappers; he conjures thought-provoking lyrics over slowed syrup-induced instrumentals. He has just released visuals to his track "Thuggin Shidd Pt II". In this video he and a friend are posted up in the kitchen as Grande casually releases his thoughts on friends, the industry, family and more in this well constructed video. Watch below and make sure to download 800 if you don't have it already.
