Pusha T – "What Dreams Are Made Of" (S-Type Remix)

Glasgow based hip-hop electronic label, LuckyMe, has been providing us with the freshest breath of air in a while. Their stacked roster includes the likes of Lunice, Rustie, Hudson Mohawke, and Machinedrum just to name a few. The founders and artists as a collective, in my opinion, represent one of the most forward thinking labels in the electronic game. Taking cues from society and living by a belief in progressiveness, founder Dominic and Martyn remark, “What we do is inclusive and open to new ideas and influences,” claims Dom, while Martyn confesses that “we’re obsessed with hearing new music. And hip hop was always about progression, about making it your own.”

Well with that said they conceptualized Lucky-T, a remix project between Decon Records and LuckyMe friends. The project arose before the release of Pusha-T’s Fear of God II, and would feature remixes centered on Pusha-T accapellas. They ultimately shelved the project, but left us with one release from LuckyMe artist S-Type. This past week he released the Billboard EP with his remix of “What Dreams Are Made Of.” The track is packed with heat, Pusha’s vocals flow seamlessly over the swagged out beat. This is one you will want to bump real loud. Check it out and go cop the Billboard EP now on iTunes.
