Many of you may not know Pink Is Punk (I didn’t until hearing this song), but this collaboration with Benny Benassi leaves me thoroughly impressed. While you can definitely hear the Godfather’s touches throughout the song, a little research and listening to the lesser-known duo, comprised of Andrea and Nico of Milan, left me confident that their mark had also been left on the track. What I hear is a Benassi-inspired progression that fuses his signature sound with Pink Is Punk’s more jagged electronic edge. It’s gritty and dangerous yet compromises with the softer elements that make a beautiful progressive house track.
