Well this song is awesome. I couldn't even drink a bottle of cough syrup and hallucinate a better combination than Mr. MFN eXquire, Gucci Mane, and El-P.
I feel a bit foolish for thinking that eXquire's Universal Republic fraternization would "change him," because "Telephuck" is just as eXquire as it gets. The El-P produced lead single off his major label debut, Power & Passion, is dark but fun; a dissonance that eXquire has always been able to balance effortlessly. And speaking of dissonance, did I mention Gucci Mane makes a last minute appearance on the track? Making little to no sense as per usual, Gucci says some stuff that leaves you scratching your involuntarily nodding head, and makes you think "Damn, the words 'Hamburger Helper' were meant to come out of that man's mouth."
