Montreal, Quebec is where young rapper Milli Millz calls home. After sharing the stage with acts like Wale and Rick Ross, the Canadian rapper took to the Internet to release S.O.A.L.: Scrapbook of a Legend, his latest offering. Rapping over originals and instrumentals of popular tracks like DJ Khaled and Kanye West's "Theraflu", as well as ScHoolboy Q and A$AP Rocky's "Hands on the Wheel", S.O.A.L. is full of boastful lyrics and hard-hitting vocals from Millz. S.O.A.L. serves as the follow-up to his DJ Rockstar-hosted The Detour.
At 18 tracks, Milli Millz's project is a bit of a long play, though it has its fair share of solid tracks. The standout "Praise the Lord" features a more soulful, sampled backdrop, while "Burn It Down" is an upbeat track that kicks off the tape. The guitar-laden "Justification", which exposes a more relatable Milli, closes out the tape and acts as a good change-up from the rest of tracklisting.
