The weekend has come and gone, and now you're deep into your weekly grind. Never fear, Wobble Wednesday is back with more of your favorite face-melting bass drops to help you make the most of your mundane lifestyle. Today I'll be guiding you along through the many variations of bass music that we see these days, new and old. I wanted to turn the Wobble Wednesday feature into more than just a section for today's dubstep, so I decided it was only right to incorporate some drum & bass as well as a summer time mix of the week section into the weekly feature.
You'll be hearing amazing bass-driven tunes from the softer, chiller side of dubstep to the filthy, grimier side that everybody loves to rage to. I'll also dip into the world of drum & bass as well as add some classic tunes from the 'golden age' of dubstep. All I ask from you guys is to enjoy and download. Once the weekend hits, steal the iPod at the party and throw on these songs. Guarantee it will make the place jump!
BASS
I would like to first focus on this Requake track which uses basic 808 drum sounds but focuses more importantly on the interesting basslines that are throughout. It's definitely an inspiring sound that I've been into a lot lately. Also, I'm sure by now that you've heard about the newest free release by dubstep dons, Nero. "Won't You (Be There)" is an absolutely smashing tune that will make any crowd go absolutely wild.

FILTH
Firstly, like to apologize for all the stream-ables here. But if you like these guys, be a good sport and support them by buying their tracks. Anyway, I'd like to focus on the 501 remix that was released this week. He doesn't come out with too much these days, but when he does, they are always bangin'. Also if you were not aware by all the current Skrillex & Damien Marley remixes popping up, there is a remix contest, but to our pleasure Butch Clancy remixed the tune and decided to not submit it and rather post it for free. So here you are people.

Some great remixes featured here today. Here's a stream of Killsonik's "Tidal Wave" off of Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show. Smash & Grab remix a classic Fugees track in "Ready or Not" turning it into a chiller DnB track with some funky bass sounds.

CHILL
A lot of great new chiller dub songs have been released this week. It seems like any artist that I normally feature in this section came out with something great, MitiS, Rameses B, Seven Lions, Enigma Dubz. Need I go on? All of these tracks are worth a listen.

MIX OF THE WEEK
This week's mix was a fairly easy choice the second I heard it. Zeds Dead seems to be working on a bunch of new songs, many of which are posted here in this mix, along with some seriously great classics (I'm mostly talking about Skream's "How Real"). Be ready for this Marina and the Diamonds remix, definitely one of my new favorites.
