Fresh off a Hype Machine #1 with Strange Attractor, Dzeko & Torres are back, this time providing the framework for another one of Michael Woods hard hitting edits. The young duo out of the Toronto club scene have been working hard to build their fan base and credibility with a slew of recent remixes and appearances. While working toward creating their own electro and progressive house style, they’ve been picking up heavy play in festival sets and radio shows of Hardwell, Chuckie, Felix Cartal and others alike. This week they’ve teamed up with another Canadian up and comer, Jed Harper, to release their first original work together, “Diamond Rings.”
Out on Provoke Records this week is the Michael Woods edit, which brings a futuristic edge to his recent signature house remixes. The track really holds to the standards we expect from Woods with its sharp synths and grinding energy after the drop.. He has recently been slowly leaning toward more radio-friendly remixes, goes back to his roots a bit with “Diamond Rings.”
