Its been a month since the last instalment of The Club, but if you're an avid follower of EARMILK, hopefully we've kept you satisfied. We've brought on several writers to bring you daily updates on the EDM world, whether its highly anticipated releases from the biggest producers in the world, or submissions to kg@earmilk.com that we feel the need to share with you, the fans.
Without further adieu, I bring you Part 1 of this week long journey to bring you up to speed on what's happening in dance music today. First up is your months supply of electro house bangers. We've got tracks from Jerry Rekonius, Laidback Luke & Angger Dimas, Loopers, and Wolfgang Gartner to name just a few. Turn's remix of "Jag Vill Ut" from Lilla Sallskapet is quite simply put; heavy. The Deadmau5 and Wolfgang Gartner inspired electro bomb is ready for the big time, with dirty bass lines and incredible progressive builds. Taking elements from across the board, Turn has created one of my favourite tracks in recent memory, evoking emotion in a similar way that many tracks from Nero, Madeon, and Porter Robinson seem to do. Turn it up to 11 on this one.
Hard Rock Sofa & Swanky Tunes joined forces once again recently and the result was a heavy hitting, mid-set banger that's sure to get the crowd jumping. "Here We Go" has just what we've come to expect when the two big room heavyweight groups link up; infectious bass lines and captivating vocals used just enough to give the crowd something to remember. These guys show no signs of slowing down, and have risen from relative obscurity to being two of the biggest Russian exports in the last few years.
Dem Slackers has been busy lately, racking up remix after remix for names like The Bloody Beetroots and Rihanna, and to nobody's surprise, the Dutch 20 year old has crafted a few electro bombs that would tear up any room. His remix of "Where Have You Been" takes one of the most popular vocals of the year and matches it with a bass line that reminds me of "Sweet Dreams"; while his remix for "Rocksteady" makes use of the electro grunge that comes stock from any Bloody Beetroots original. Layering a beautiful lead synth overtop and dropping into an 8-bit style bass line is just what the track needed to spice it up a little bit; making it club friendly all the way through.

Tom Fall produces some intense progressive house; we’re talking about the kind of tracks unleashed in the middle of festival sets, when the DJ wants to make the crowd go absolutely NUTS. Hailing from Lohja, Finland, he has been featured in many of Tiesto’s Club Life sets as his style borders on (and crosses over to) trance. Such compatibility can be found in strong female vocals mixed into prolonged climbs that fall into gut-wrenching beats. Tom Fall’s remix of “J'ai Envie De Toi” by Armin van Buuren & Gaia expresses these characteristics without flaw, taking you on a journey through space with seductive French vocals. Notice the mesmerizing ping that predicates the 2 and 4 counts, leading up to some massive big room noise.
