Afrojack vs Adventure Club – "Wait! They Don't Rock The House" (PeaceTreaty Bootleg)

I remember a few years back when the PeaceTreaty duo, Josh Anaya and Angelo Patino-Patroni, were just two unknown youngins from Chino Hills. Now signed to Dim Mak Records, they’ve come a long way from when I first saw them at a tiny club in Oakland, CA in 2010. Today on their Soundcloud, they released an epic mashup of two songs that have been all over the blogosphere: Afrojack’s "Rock The House" with Adventure Club's rendition, "Wait," of the indie classic "Maps," originally by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Beginning the mashup with an amazing rework of Afrojack’s hit, PeaceTreaty continues the track by slowly adding an echoing, distorted version of Karen O’s timeless lyrics. The combination of dulcet indie tones and fiery electro house explosions make the track surprising, though still cohesive and incredibly enjoyable.
