After showcasing the inaugural Step Fresh mix back in May and taking a brief hiatus, Refix Mechanic's Steven Martin (AKA DJ Stevie Buckets) returns with the second installment of EARMILK's monthly Step Fresh mix. For this month's auditory adventure in broadbeat mixing stylos, electronics, acoustics, boom baps and everything else in between, Martin cooked up 48 minute mix that includes well over 2o songs ranging from music from  Kode9 & the Spaceape to M.I.A.  and Void Pedal.

The mix gets underway with Shigeto's ambient remix of Sufjian Steven's "Futile Devices". The better part of the first half of the mix is characterized by the electronic stylings of from the likes of Kuedo and Amon Tobin. Genre wise the mix switches gears with a smooth segue into the dub mix of Wiley's "Gangster's" and Spooky's electro-dub track "Murderer".

The mix also includes some recognizable hip-hop flourishes such as Mexicans With Guns' Freddie Gibbs assisted "Highway to Hell" and Lil Wayne's piano and percussion driven "Nightmares of the Bottom" which seamlessly flows into Shortstuff Refix of Oriol's "Memories".The mix reaches its climax somewhere around the 37 minute mark with Mike Slott's bouncy rework of Kotchy's "Sometimes" and Boards of Canada's remix of cLOUDEAD's "Dead Dogs Two".
