Taking their eighties influences by the scruff of the neck and throwing in a healthy dose of math-rock inspired rhythms and angular guitar lines, Buckingham based five-piece Coastal Cities’ exhilarating new single "Relief" is the thrilling follow up to last year’s Think Tank EP.

United by a shared love of new wave music, Coastal Cities formed during school detention and began crafting their own brand of high energy, dancefloor ready indie. Since graduating from school this summer the band are gearing up to release their first single proper "Relief"; a song about the desperation of youth to break out and start living their dreams. With a tip of the hat to Foals’ earlier work, this beautifully realized single has firmly cemented Coastal Cities on our ‘Ones To Watch’ list.

"Relief" is out on July 30 but is available now as a limited free download via Coastal Cities' Facebook page.
