Mashup Monday – We're back again with some of the freshest mashes to start your week off right. These are the mashes that are worth hearing, so stop you're searching and instead settle down at your computer… turn up your speakers… and get ready for that sweet nectar that only EARMILK can give ya. Let's GO.

So this week was a little tougher to find a solid quantity of mashups. Didn't want to inundate you guys with more mashes of "Call Me Maybe"…it seems as though I had about 20 mashes with that sample alone in my inbox. Now with that being said, there are definitely some tracks that I truly enjoyed. First one off the list is an exclusive track from Keys N Krates, graciously sent over by fellow EARMILK writer Goldngrams. I dug the UGK sample and the heavy bass that they infused within the track. With some low accompanying synths, this track deserves to have your sub set to as low as it can go, while you just sit back and enjoy.

Second track that I was enjoying was Manila Killa's re-edit/remake of Madeon's "Mr. Brightside" from Coachella. The Killers' "Mr. Brightside" goes wonderfully with the light synths of Madeon while still maintaining a dance quality. This is certainly a summer jam that utilizes a track from the past to near perfection. It's been a while since Manila had graced EARMILK, but this was a nice welcome-back tune. A contrasting mash to Manila is done by N3AKO, who seems to be the king of hard-hitting mashes. With the release of his Synthesis EP (found here), you'll find 8 tracks that are sure to kick-start your day. My personal favorite, "Seconds of Fire," is included below.

Closing out this week's segment is a great mash by The FatRat who combines his own "Do Be Do Be Do" with Daft Punk's "Harder Better Faster Stronger" to create a party track worthy of any set. FatRat has been climbing up my list of artists to keep an eye on, due in part to his amazing remixes, and his "Do Harder Be Faster" mash just builds his case. And if you're really wanting tons more mashes, make sure to check out this insane project featuring too many mash artists to count titled The 4th Point of Procrastination. I've included two mashes of 60, yes 60, tracks that I really enjoyed but there are tons more that may pique your interest.
