Before the release of Visions, Canada's experimental pop princess Claire Boucher of Grimes collaborated with Cop Car Bonfire's Tim Lafontaine and called themselves Membrain. Facebook says Cop Car Bonfire is "crunked out club" music so you can just imagine the wild electronic beats from Lafontaine as he mingles with Boucher's playful utterances. Their work together is compiled on an EP titled Sit Back, Rewind, which is due later this year. Not much information is given on the actual release but their soundcloud contains several tracks as an introduction of Membrain. Some, primarily "Airic" include samples of Grimes' "Symphonia IX (my wait is u)". The sedated club mixes are something we are fans of but what do you think, is Membrain an instant addiction?
