Amsterdam indie soul singer-songwriter Mar, who you may be familiar with from his collaborations with his creative partner neo-soul/hip-hop producer Full Crate or Mar's popular serial cover project Variations, has been hard at work preparing to release his debut EP Seeing Her Naked. If the title of the EP and the beautiful artwork alone do not move you to want to check out the project, maybe the lead single "Our Attempt" will. The seductive quality of Mar's vocals and the subtle but sensual production create a warm equilibrium that should surely appeal to Mar's established fan base and casual music listeners alike. Seeing Her Naked is slated to be released by the end of March. In addition to his solo project, a new Full Crate & Mar album is expected to be released before the end of 2012.
