Before embarking on a solo career Jgarc Beair made a name for himself performing in punk and metal bands. Now as a singer/rapper and member of the dU: Heart music collective, the East New York native is gearing up to release his first solo project. In preparation for his forthcoming project, Jgarc dropped off his first single “Togepi" along with some dope visuals to premiere exclusively here on the site. It's next to impossible to pinpoint or label Jgarc's sound. Drawing on elements of post-dub, hip-hop, R&B, alternative and pop, Jgarc's sound is unmistakably bold and self-defining.
